School Visits: Do you know what “Reinventing public spaces in Bethlehem” project is? Or what do we mean by “A PUBLIC space” and “urban furniture”?

Part of the participatory process organized to re-design “Manger Square” with the community of Bethlehem, school visits were organized to explain various concepts related to the re-design of the square such as “public space”, “urban furniture”, and what does Manger square mean to you.

A class worksheet titled “Manger square observation grid” was filled and discussed with the children in an attempt to
understand their feelings towards Manger Square particularly.

– 29 January 2020: The first class activity was organized for fourth and sixth grade students in Terra Sancta College – Bethlehem.
– 06 February 2020: The second class activity was organized with sixth grade students in TSG St. Joseph – Bethlehem.
